Adele Breaks Down When She Spots Celine Dion in Her Audience

“Weekends with Adele” is in its home stretch, wrapping on November 23, with Adele to extend it.

There will be further tearjerking moments, you can bet on that, but it’s hard to imagine any beating this one.

As you know, Dion, 56, has been dealing with Stiff Person’s Syndrome since her last Las Vegas residency, 2011-2019 s Celine, though she didn’t realize it back then. The rare neurological disease causes painful spasms and seizures for lengthy periods, as was shown in June’s Amazon Prime documentary “I am: Celine Dion.”

While there is no cure, Dion is reportedly fighting back hard enough to attempt the Las Vegas residency she initially promised Resorts World in 2021.

Back in July right after Dion proved, at the Olympics, that she can still power through one song with no problem TMZ reported that negotiations were in “the final stages” between her reps and AEG Live for a truncated residency beginning at the Resorts World Theatre either late this year or early 2025.

Obviously, this year is now out.
